Our free clothes event is about saving parents money, it’s also about saving our planet.
There are so many clothes in the world, when they get thrown away they clog up rivers, and end up in huge holes in the ground. One of the best ways to save our beautiful planet, is to reuse good clothes rather than throw them away. The parent house gives away free pre-loved children’s clothes all year find out more and once a year we hold a clothes event for mums.
Mum’s can come and choose items that they like and take them home for free. Coats, scarves, skirts and shirts. Come along and see if there is something you like.
This year’s event is at Jean Stokes Community Centre, Carnoustie Drive, N1 0DX, on December 3rd at 12pm
Stitch by Stich, a group of local parents, will show you how to hand stitch a hem or how to sew up a hole. Bring a piece of clothing that you Love that needs some care, they can show you how to fix it.
